All Zahari breeding cats are tested negative for FIV/FeLV and T-Foetus infection. My cats are also genetically tested for PK-Def (Erythrocyte Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency) and PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy).

Shadow is a very sweet-natured boy with a loving personality. He has a clear silver coat with very little rufousing (a yellow pigmentation that looks like a stain on the silver coat).
Shadow, orginally a southern boy from Oamaru, comes to us from the Jewel cattery in Auckland. Thank you to Patricia Pool for offering Shadow to us so we can continue his lines in New Zealand.
Shadow has now retired from breeding and has gone to his pet home.

Chanti, our first home-bred girl, is a lovely warm coloured blue with nice rich oatmeal. She has great clarity with no necklacing or barring and good ticking.
Chanti has grown into a very a well balanced girl with an elegant but muscular body and lovely eye shape and earset.

Serenity comes to us from Abyrose Abyssinians and Ocicats located in the North Island.
She brings a combination of new and existing lines to Zahari. Thank you Jody we are very excited to have her in our programme.
Serenity has an excellent profile and chin and brilliant rich colouring, we are looking forward to showing her this year with her first litter of kittens planned for later in the year.

Lily is the first silver we have kept for breeding and will carry on her father's rare lines here in New Zealand while her brother does the same thing in Australia.
Lily has good clarity and ticking and I am happy with the quality of her silvering considering she has a non-silver parent.
She has good body type with nice tail length and a wonderful ear set.
We will look forward to her first litter later this year.
